PERSONALITY: Quiet and often shy. Jake doesn't really reach out to other people. He's not really talkative, but if someone starts asking him questions he can't get himself to stop talking. He's pretty smart for his age, having wanted to go into engineering after high school.
BACKGROUND: Jacob Reyes was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Life was rather normal despite all the crazy things that happened around the city. Jake tried to ignore most of it, but during his first few years of high school he couldn't help but find himself in weird situations where the supernatural occurred. He was quite unsure of it all and tried his best to stay away from all of his friends who were just weird. Jake learned that most of his friends were different and he came to accept that diversity without much jealousy on his part.

After high school, Jacob was planning on going to college until the latest apocalypse hit and he was forced into hiding by his parents. He watched nearly half of the city get taken over by some vampire overlord. He was angry and confused as to why he lived in such a world and that very anger triggered his super strength. He remembered punching out an entire concrete wall, not even damaged by his own strength. Things didn't stop there as Jake then started having weird dreams that he just couldn't understand. Some of these dreams seemed nice while others just got increasingly violent.
